Brethren, I hereby submit my report on the accounts for the twelve months ended 30th. April 2017 being a much more settled period than the previous one.The income from court fees being the annual dues from eight courts to the Province. New members fees being new and joining members entering the Order during the year and fees of honour being that charged to Provincial Officers on appointment are collectively up on the previous year by £110 The Regalia sales represents the onward sale of ties, lapel pins and the occasional jewel has also increased by £87 over the previouse year. The year book expences are for entries into several provincial year books across the various Craft Provinces that we stradle. This year (£185) covers all our Provinces were as the previouse year (£76) did not.The Provincial meeting costs represented the loss incured at the Annual Meeting held in May 2016 (52) which was better controlled than the previous year (£89)The other expenses were largely postage and stationary cost (£32) this year up from (£21) last year. The regalia purchases represent the purchase of new ties for resale (£430)which have sold through pretty well. Also the purchase of new statutes (£110) for onward sale of which over half have been sold. We still hold a Provincial stock of approximately £500 worth of goods. The cost of running the Provincial web site was £35 last year, we have had no invoice for this year. As expected withought some of the non recurring costs from last year we have made a healthy surplus this year, which leaves the Province in a reasonable financial situation. The previouse regime had prepared accounts to 30th. April being the anniversary of the Consecration of the Province and not to 30th. June as directed by the Statutes. Hopfully next year we shal move the annual meeting to later in the year and change will lead to fourteen month period of accounts as we fall in line with the directions.J.
