Dear Brethren.

As we approach the Festive Season, I would like to extend my very best wishes to you and those close to you for Christmas and the New Year and may it be a happy and healthy time for us all. We have a number of Brethren struggling with health issues and we send our particular good wishes to them.

We have had a busy time in Wessex in the last twelve months with the consolidation of our two new Courts and a number of new members enjoying the delights of Athelstan Masonry. I have so enjoyed my visits to all of our Courts and my thanks go to the Provincial Team for all that they have done throughout the year. I have been so well received on all my visits and I thank you all for making me feel so welcome.

I have already pencilled in my visit dates for next year and I look forward to another special year in 2024.

Please look out for suitably qualified Brethren to bring into our Order, both to ensure that our existing Courts remain in good stead and to help us consecrate additional Courts in those areas that we are not well represented. In this respect I know there are well-advanced plans for further Courts in Wiltshire and Oxfordshire that we hope to bring to fruition in the year ahead.

Brethren, we have passed through difficult times in recent years, so please help one another. Car sharing may be an option and a friendly phone call might be welcome for those living alone or struggling with illness. Masonry should always be about caring for others.

Once again, my best wishes to you and those you love for Christmas and the New Year and I look forward to sharing your company and friendship in the year ahead.

With kindest regards.

Yours sincerely and fraternally
Keith Waters
