Consecration of King Ecgberht of Wessex Court No 98

King Ecgberht of Wessex Court was consecrated at Wokingham by the Assistant Grand Master, R W Bro Charles Aspinell, on 11th November 2021.

A total of 18 Uniques, having previously been Instructed into the Order at the Court of Sion Abbey No. 126 at Twickenham Masonic Centre and at Aethelbald Court No. 62 at Keynsham Masonic Hall, were welcomed into the Order by the Assistand Grand Master.

Following the Consecration, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master for Wessex, V W Bro Andrew Barrett, installed and proclaimed R W Bro Ron Bridger as the Court’s Primus Master.

A highlight of the evening was R W Bro Mervyn Western, aged 93 years, the Provincial Eminent Grand Prior, welcoming Bro Ernest Niel, aged 94 years, into the Order.
